Can I install it in my accommodation?
Our smart locks can be installed on any door that has a Euro profile cylinder. We simply replace the existing cylinder with the electronic lock. To be able to open the doorway, all that is needed is a properly functioning telephone inside the house.
Is there any installation at the building's entrance?
No, the system offered by Hoomvip does not require any installation outside the apartment itself.
The openings are made from inside the apartment. Thus not having to have the approval of the community of neighbors.
Are the reports automatically sent to the Police?
Yes, a file is generated daily for each accommodation with all the validated data of the guests. On the check in date, this file is automatically sent to the corresponding state security forces: National Police, Civil Guard, Mossos de Escuadra and Ertzaintza. In the Hoomvip management panel, all the generated reports are stored with their corresponding number and signature.
What happens if I sell the apartment or stop managing it?
In case you stop managing a tourist apartment, it can be easily dismantled and installed in a new apartment. To install the Hoomvip keyless opening system, it is not necessary to make any modification to the door of the accommodation or the portal. Moreover, no specific wiring is required.
Is a smart lock secure?
Not all of them, that's why the lock chosen by Hoomvip, is manufactured by a leading company in lock manufacturing as SALTO SYSTEMS, which guarantees maximum security and the best after sales service.
Do I need to have internet connection in my accommodation?
To be able to open the doors with the mobile or remotely, it is necessary to have internet connection, but our system has 4G technology, so it is not necessary that the accommodation has internet connection.
In case there is an internet connection in the accommodation, it is configured in “multi-connection” mode, if one connection fails, the system automatically connects to the other one.
How many apartments can I manage with Hoomvip?
