Legal Compliance with Hoomvip
According to the Organic Law 1/1992, of February 21, 1992, on the Protection of Public Safety, all hotel establishments are obliged to keep a traveler’s log book.
All persons over 14 years of age, who spend the night in any hotel or non-hotel establishment, are obliged to identify themselves with their ID card or passport and to sign the traveler’s report. The data of these travelers’ reports are reported daily to the State security forces.
Failure to comply with this law may result in fines of up to 30,000 euros.

It is the moment in which the guest’s data is taken and his/her signature is requested. In traditional hotels this is done at the moment of arrival at the reception desk. An online self check in system allows guests to check in before arriving at their accommodation.

Once the registration of all guests over 14 years of age has been completed, the opening permit is activated in the accommodation and the data is sent to the State Security Forces.
